Thuja Design where appointed to produce designs for the refurbishment of Maple house which is situated with Birmingham’s office core and close to the Law Courts.

The scope of works included all common area, including Reception Areas, stairwells, landings and W/C’s together with all office suites.

Thuja Design was retained by the client to manage the implementation of the design scheme, attend site meetings and complete a final review of all works.

Thuja Design were initially asked to perform a technical role, reviewing the proposed 304 apartments and optimizing their internal layouts.  Their role evolved and subsequently they became responsible for producing the specifications and designs for the apartments fit-out.

The scope of work also included designs for all common areas, lift lobbies, stairwells and detailed designs for the developments entrances and sky lobbies.

Thuja Design have been retained by the client to manage the implementation of the design scheme and have been working on the scheme since April ‘07

Thuja Design were responsible for procurement and installation of the specialist joinery within the office fit out scheme, and have subsequently provided other furniture and furnishings for a more recent refurbishment.

Thuja Design has offered private clients design consultancy services for contemporary and traditional interiors in the home.
